- Ideal location for family events i.e. weddings, conferences, amphitheatre
events
- Nature surroundings with ravine encompassing site
- Graduated Care Village
- Plan Exceeds "Make-Do" mentality
- City's security is our equity
- Lending contract that is designed to protect the city and their future
responsibilities
- Supports Mayor Peter Ostojec's electoral mandate
- Leasing arrangements meets Ministry of Health Standards and allows the
City to maintain control of the Long Term Care facility
Cons:
- If renovation costly to Alma exceed the 12 quotes obtained
- Inability to lease 66 senior units in Alma's historic building
- The City's fear of assuming responsibility for area "B" only
if Alma defaults on it's commitments
- City leasing instead of owning land and building for the Long-Term Care
facility
- Fear of working together with private and public sector.
